Dear Sir/Mdm,

I have observed the student candidate Thong Ying Xuan, over a period of 1 year since 2014 as a mentor and teacher and have found her to be a cheerful, intelligent and hardworking student.

She is serious in her work and dedicated to the study of science and biology  other than scoring good grades,have performed brilliantly in her academic work. She also purses the study of science with the scientific  rigour of a medical student and is absolutely dedicated to her work. She also has research experience in several scientific studies , including stints at  NTU-MAE collaborative work  and the Moscow Chemical Lyceum.

In addition, she has   a heart in reaching out and  helping old people ,  where she worked  with the elderly at  JoyCentre  and Project Pandora( sponsored by HPB) where she confirmed her calling to do medicine.

Apart from her excellent grades and good heart,she is also determined to pursue medicine as her career choice,and I am writing in support of this, as I believe she will be a very valuable asset to the field of medicine in view of her attributes.
